Stanley and Helen have always been a match made in heaven, from their shared love of great food and travel, to their dedication to family. Always an innovator, it was only natural for Stanley to create another perfect match, this time within his business – the coming together of food & wine.

In 1996, Stanley purchased an 80-acre cattle ranch and transformed it into the award-winning Hestan Vineyards that it is today. Stanley fondly recalls that the first vintage, a 2001 Merlot, was created through the blood, sweat and tears of himself, his wife and their three children. A few fingers were pricked when the family enthusiastically joined in on the first harvest under the relentless autumn heat.

The importance of family & heritage is evident at Hestan Vineyards. The vineyard’s 92 point pinot noir, Vincent Christopher, is the coming together of Stanley’s sons. Stephanie, a long lauded label ranging from Merlot, Malbec to Cabernet Sauvignon, proudly bears the name of the only daughter in the family. With Stanley’s roots in cookware, the Meyer Vineyard label pays homage to Stanley’s first company, Meyer Corporation, the largest distributor of cookware in the world.
