72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Petit Verdot, 7% Cabernet Franc, 5% Merlot, 4% Malbec from 12 vineyard blocks

Winemaker Notes: A rich, long and complexly layered wine with ample weight and structure to carry the sweet oak to finish. Notes of violets, sweet pipe tobacco, cedar, black currant, black cherry and decadent dark chocolate.

Hestan Vineyards
Cabernet Sauvignon, 2004, Napa Valley

Nestled among 127 acres of rolling hills in picturesque Napa Valley, Hestan Vineyards is a family-owned estate with 42 low-yielding acres of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot & Malbec. Each grape cluster was carefully hand-selected to ensure the finest quality. The wine went through 18 months of graceful aging in 100% new French oak barrels, imparting to it luscious aromas and flavors. The minimalistic approach adopted in handcrafting the wine was extended to the bottling process, which was performed without filtration and fining. A limited production of 470 cases.

Possessing lovely fruit, this wine is full-bodied and boasts a rich, buttery flavor. Unfined and unfiltered, this wine follows the minimalist approach we've adopted in hand crafting our wines. 290 cases produced.

Meyer Vineyard
Cabernet Sauvignon, 2004, Napa Valley

The hallmarks of the Meyer Cabernet Sauvignon are its deep flavors and velvety tannins with concentrated layers of red and black fruit. This handcrafted wine, aged 18 months in French oak barrels, was bottled without filtration and fining. We're pleased to announce that Wine Spectator rated it 90 points.

Meyer Vineyard
Syrah, 2004, Napa Valley

This wine's bouquet speaks volumes of creamy, roasted, black fruits and crème de cassis, with hints of mocha, minerals and tea. In the mouth, this young Syrah has a seamless entry, an extracted full mouth-feel, with the tannins being extremely well-balanced, velvety and supple. 575 cases were produced.
