Hestan Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon, 2004, Napa ValleyNestled among 127 acres of rolling hills in picturesque Napa Valley, Hestan Vineyards is a family-owned estate with 42 low-yielding acres of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot & Malbec. Each grape cluster was carefully hand-selected to ensure the finest quality. The wine went through 18 months of graceful aging in 100% new French oak barrels, imparting to it luscious aromas and flavors. The minimalistic approach adopted in handcrafting the wine was extended to the bottling process, which was performed without filtration and fining. A limited production of 470 cases. |

In the mouth, this young Syrah has a seamless entry, an extracted full mouth-feel, with the tannins being extremely well-balanced, velvety and supple. 575 cases were produced. |
